Fulham Introduces Low-Profile Versions of Popular LinearHO High Output LED DC Modules

LP-LinearHO DC LED Modules Available in 5.5 to 58-inch Models and are designed for Highbays, Vapor Tight, and Troffer Luminaires using FLUO T5HO lamps.

Hawthorne, CA, USA — Fulham Co., Inc., a leading supplier of lighting components and electronics for commercial and specialty applications, is now shipping new low-profile versions of its popular LinearHO LED Modules. The new LP-LinearHO high-output DC LED modules are available in eight configurations and are ideal for linear highbays or linear strip luminaries, for example, four- or eight-foot vapor tights and troffers.

The LP-LinearHO DC LED Modules are high-lumen units with an output range from 14,699 lm down to 219 lm, delivering higher lumens per watt and higher thermal conductivity. LP-LinearHO DC LED Modules allow for OEMs to meet the DLC Premium requirement much easier and with greater flexibility. What makes these different from Fulham’s standard LinearHO units is their lower profile, both in width (1.26 inches) and height (.29 inches), higher thermal performance, and 8 percent higher lumen output. The LP-LinearHO DC LED modules are easier and faster to install when compared to standard DC modules. The LP-LinearHO is rigid and has self-thermal management; the MCPCB is mounted in an aluminum extrusion to eliminate the need for heatsinking. They also are suitable for dry or damp locations.

For maximum versatility, the LP-LinearHO DC LED modules are offered in six standard models – 5.5 inches with 1,959lm (480mA), 11 inches with 3,919lm (640mA), 22 inches with 4,899lm (800mA) 22 inches with 7,700lm (1250mA), 44 inches with 8,656lm (1400mA), and 44 inches with 14,699lm (2400mA). A 46-inch model with 8,656lm (1400mA) and a 58-inch version with 14,699lm (2400mA) are also available as custom orders. All the LP-LinearHO units are compatible with Fulham programmable drivers as well as Fulham’s HotSpot LED emergency lighting systems.

“Demand for our LinearHO DC modules continues to grow as the market for new LED installations and LED retrofits continues to heat up,” said Edwin Reyes, Product Director, LED Light Sources, for Fulham. “We are especially seeing more demand for linear modules that can be installed outdoors or in harsher environments such as vapor tight applications. With the addition of these new low-profile DC modules, we are giving OEMs and installers even more flexibility when it comes to high-performance LED luminaires.”

A snap-on, diffused lens accessory as well as a 2 or 4 module harness is available for all the LP-Linear DC LED Modules. The units also are cURus certified, CE listed, and RoHS compliant.

T5 Data Centers Completes T5@Chicago To Accommodate Growing Demand from Enterprise Data Center Users

Completion of Purpose-Built, Customizable Facility Gives T5 a Leadership Presence in Burgeoning Chicago Data Center Market.

Elk Grove Village, IL, USA — T5 Data Centers, innovators in providing secure, customizable, hyperscale computing environments for enterprise companies, has completed construction of the T5@Chicago data center in one of the hottest markets in the United States.

The completion of the T5@Chicago facility just seven months after beginning construction demonstrates T5’s ability to build data centers quickly and in a robust nature that appeals to the corporate enterprise. The data center now offers up to 10 MW of available critical power capacity in the important submarket of Elk Grove Village.

The colocation market continues to thrive in the U.S. represented by quarter over quarter leasing records posted by data center providers. The evaluation process of choosing whether to outsource or build your own data center used to be much more complicated and strenuous. However, T5 Data Centers has simplified this decision-making process for companies through its ability to build extremely resilient facilities in a more cost effective, efficient and timely manner.

“Our extensive development process from the initial building design stages to collaborating with our customers during installation has eliminated much of the complexity companies have when undertaking data center initiatives,” said David Horowitz, Vice President of Sales for T5 Data Centers. “It’s all about listening to the customer and delivering on what is important to them. These are mission-critical projects and customers not only demand operational performance and continuous uptime, but they also want to avoid giving up control of their infrastructure. The level of security, unparalleled customer support and true visibility into a customer’s infrastructure within a T5 facility is superior to owning and operating themselves.”

T5 Data Centers has already completed leases in T5@Chicago with a variety of Fortune 1000 companies who were looking for a partner that offered a customizable solution in a highly secure environment.

“We have preleased most of the Phase 1 capacity at T5@Chicago and are already embarking on plans for further expansion,” said Horowitz. “Chicago continues to be one of the hottest data center markets in the country, and T5 is in a unique position to be able to offer such a robust and flexible solution.”

“ComEd has invested billions to upgrade the power delivery infrastructure in Northern Illinois, including a recent substation capacity expansion benefiting the Elk Grove area” said Sheila Owens, Vice President of Economic Development, of ComEd. “This will help ensure consistent and reliable service for customers at T5 Data Centers.”

The newly completed T5@Chicago data center is a purpose-built, LEED-certified data center providing server-ready space for enterprise customers in a highly secure environment. In addition to providing secured, private data halls in a concurrently maintainable and fault-tolerant design, T5@Chicago also provides premium common area amenities to accommodate its customers’ employees.

On-site support is available through T5 Facilities Management (T5FM), which provides best-in-class, award-winning facilities management services including remote hands to data center owners across North America. The T5FM team provides 24/7 facilities support so customers can be assured of uninterrupted service.

The software automatically collects InDesign documents with their fonts and links from watched hot folders. Package Central can serve unlimited users on a network and offers email alerts, variable job names, PDF export, and more. The new version addresses an issue in which the app could stall when enqueuing a large number of InDesign jobs in its hot folders.

Toronto (ON), Canada — Zevrix Solutions today announces Package Central 1.11, a maintenance update to its document packaging automation solution for Adobe InDesign. Originally developed for a major publisher in the United States, the software automates InDesign packaging by processing files from watched hot folders. Package Central offloads file packaging to a central system leaving operator workstations free from the document collection process.

The new version addresses an issue in which Package Central could stall when enqueuing a large number of InDesign jobs in the app’s hot folders. The issue was caused by a macOS limitation on the total number of files than can be aggregated for certain operations during threaded processing. Package Central now breaks such long queues into smaller segments, giving users the complete freedom to accumulate unlimited number of jobs in the hot folders.

Under Package Central workflow, production artists, prepress operators and designers simply submit files to watched hot folders that reside on a network. The software automatically collects InDesign files along with their fonts and links freeing user’s time for important tasks such as design and layout. Operator workstations will never again be tied up by the packaging process.

Package Central runs on a dedicated Mac station and watches hot folders for incoming InDesign files. The software performs all its tasks automatically and can run absolutely unattended. It offers the following key features and benefits:

Automatically collect InDesign files from hot folders
Automatic email notifications of process stages and errors
-Update modified links automatically
-Create PDF and IDML files on the fly
-Compose variable folder names
-Serves unlimited users on a network
-Detailed processing history

Pricing and Availability:
Package Central can be purchased for US$149.95 from Zevrix website as well as from authorized resellers. Trial is also available for download. The update is free for registered users. Package Central requires macOS 10.7-10.13 and Adobe InDesign CS5-CC 2018.
