New York, USA (July 31, 2013) — From Sex in the City to Fifty Shades of Grey, the latest craze for single women is Landing Mr. Right TM, a hilarious social board game about dating that’s entertaining women of all ages at private homes, chic boutiques and hot-spots from Miami to Manhattan.

“Landing Mr. Right parties are the newest trend for an unforgettable girls’ night,” says Alys Daly, who created the game along with girlfriend Victoria Brewer. The two pondered writing a how-to book about dating, but decided what women need is a platform to come together and talk about their dating experiences – the good, the bad and the comical. The game is designed to inspire single gals and give them the confidence that as long as they stay in the game, they will land their Mr. Right.

Landing Mr. Right revolves around dating six types of men: Blue Blood, CEO, Regular Guy, Triathlete, Rock Star and Techno-Geek. The game is easy to follow. A player selects a Date card that takes her to one of ten exciting destinations – from Paris to Vegas. However, whether that date puts you closer to or further away from Landing Mr. Right (a space on the board you must land on to win) is, as they say, all in the cards.

The Your Story cards tackle everything from online dating to meeting his family. Questions, such as “They’re making a Broadway Show about your sex life. Is it a comedy, a romance or a one-woman show?” get you thinking, laughing and discovering new things about yourself, your girlfriends and the men you date.

Brewer adds, “Landing Mr. Right gives you the opportunity to date outside your comfort zone and explore relationships with different types of men. For instance, if you’ve always gone for romantic, yet undependable Rock Stars, why not roll the die with a loyal and predictable Regular Guy, says Brewer.

Fans of the game agree. Yania Olabarrieta, a 40-something single advertising executive who hosted a Landing Mr. Right party at her condo in Miami Beach says, “Landing Mr. Right opened my eyes and made me see that I tend to date the same type of guy, yet he’s not for me. More than a game, Landing Mr. Right is Therapy in a Box!”

Alys & Victoria have just launched a campaign on Kickstarter, a funding platform for creative projects. Supporters will be the first to get the signed game and other Landing Mr. Right merchandise. They plan to have the game produced in mass quantity and available on in time for the holiday season. For more information, contact Alys & Victoria at; call 561-339-5929 or 305-815-0312 or visit their blog at and share your hilarious dating stories.

Lawlor, who is nicknamed the “PB Millionaire,” called Sea World who sent a rescue team that netted the seal and brought it back to their location for medical treatment.

“Great show, Jim is really cool and does a lot of good for SD and injured seals!” – one Youtube viewer wrote.

Flying Buttresses A Novel of Bipolar Disorder (Book Cover)

Georgetown, Texas, USA (July 26, 2013) — Join author Jane Thompson as she learns about the value of support for those who suffer from bipolar disorder in her new novel, Flying Buttresses: A Novel of Bipolar Disorder (now available through Amazon and Kindle).

My new book, Flying Buttresses, ( is not about the support offered Gothic Cathedrals, but about a support group formed by six people with bipolar disorder, people in varying degrees of wellness and abilities to function. This book is the story of how they helped-and didn’t help each other, how they encouraged each other and how they worked to promote stability for each member. Each of them has a story, and each story is fascinating.

Meet Missy, who tries to damp her mania with vodka with no success. And Carleton, who stays on his lithium but finds that mania invariably creeps up on him anyway. Jackie, an attractive blond, has lost custody of her child because of her illness, and has to fight to get him back. Suzy is obsessed with a rock star and can’t get him out of her mind. Abby has fallen in love with a married man and can’t get up. Marie has lost her job and is trying to find her balance. See how these people, all with the same disorder, come together to try to mitigate the damages of the illness and to reach stability through therapy and medication.

They support each other through the search for the proper medications, though it is difficult for each individual to find the right ones for them. Their senses of humor and outlooks on life help each of them to life with the difficulties of living with the pain of mental illness.

The book is meant to be diverting and to tell a story, but also to educate people as to how the disorder works and the means of combatting it. It is meant for those suffering from the disorder and friends and family of those who have the illness.

How I Fell in Love Online Keynotes Dating Expo

Dating websites, Keynote Address, and Dance Party are featured at the Online Dating Expo, September 7, 2013, at the DoubleTree Hotel San Francisco Airport.

SAN RAFAEL, CA, USA (July 25, 2013) — Contact: Tom Andrews, 415-507-9962

John and Loretta Gavin, creators of the new book Online Dating S*cks…but it’s how I fell in love, will keynote the Online Dating Expo, Saturday, September 7, 2013, 7pm-Midnight, at the DoubleTree Hotel San Francisco Airport, 835 Airport Blvd, Burlingame CA.

“One of the biggest mistakes in online dating is having s*x too early,” say The Gavins, (who barely avoided the mistake themselves). “Online dating makes getting dates EASIER, but falling in love HARDER. Among guys the ease of arranging dates online creates the mindset of ‘Next…always next.’ It then becomes difficult for men to be fully ‘present’ during any one date because of anticipation of dates to come. Men fall into the trap of making their goal to find dates rather than to find the right partner. As a result, women feel pressured to have s*x too early in the relationship, because they know this guy in front of them is likely dating other women as well. The result is lots of dates, but very few lasting relationships.

“It’s important to find out if this person you’re considering being intimate with is a good match for you,” say The Gavins. “If you don’t find out who they are, and if they’re right for you, before parting the sheets-it can be too late afterwards. The point of online dating should be to find your LAST first date rather than your NEXT one.”

John & Loretta Gavin, who recently married, are available to the news media for interviews by calling 209-202-4970. Their website is

Santerno Solar Inverters Deliver Proven Performance at Solar Systems’ Mildura Solar Power Station in Australia

Contract with Solar Systems Demonstrates that Santerno Inverters Designed for Optimal CPV Performance in Harsh Conditions Such as Arid Australian Outback.

Santerno Logo

IMOLA, Italy (July 25, 2013) — Santerno, the Carraro Group company that specializes in alternative energy electronics and industrial automation, today announced the completion of installation of its concentrated photovoltaic (CPV) power inverters in the first phase of the Mildura Solar Power Station Project in Australia. The power station, located in Victoria, was constructed by Solar Systems, wholly owned subsidiary of Silex Systems Limited, and is to be one of the largest solar power stations in Australia.

By standardizing on the Santerno solar inverters, Solar Systems ensures that the Mildura Solar Power Station remains in compliance with Australian construction codes for solar systems. Santerno’s solar components are being provided by NHP Electrical Engineering Products, which has been supplying sales and service of Santerno solar technology in Australia and New Zealand since 2003.

Unlike most solar power installations, Solar Systems uses a unique design that concentrates solar power using a parabolic mirror that focuses the sun’s energy onto a focal point where a small area of high-efficiency PV cells then converts the solar rays into electrical power. These curved reflecting mirrors are mounted on tracking systems that follow the sun to deliver concentrated CPV energy throughout the day. Stage one of the Mildura Power Station project is a 1.5 MW demonstration solar array; enough clean energy to power 500 homes.

“Solar Systems’ innovative tracking dish design is one of the most efficient PV designs we have seen, and it’s installed in some of the harshest climates on the planet,” said Marco Tecchio, Chief Executive Officer of Santerno. “The successful completion of this project demonstrates the resilience of our solar inverters and their suitability for use in even the most challenging environments. We anticipate that, with the aid of partners such as Solar Systems, we will be able to continue to expand into global markets, including Australia.”

Santerno is aggressively expanding into new global markets with new contracts signed recently in South Africa and the United States.

About Santerno
Headquartered in Imola, Italy, with offices around the globe, Santerno designs and markets solar inverters and products used to produce electricity from renewable sources. Since 2006 the company has been part of the Carraro Group, a multinational company specializing in power transmission systems with engineering and production operations in 16 countries. Santerno has more than 40 years of expertise in design automation of power electronics and has manufactured solar power inverters for 27 years, hybrid vehicles for 16 years, and wind power systems for six years. Santerno has more than 40 distributors worldwide.
