Garden City, Long Island, NY (July 20, 2015) — Eposeidon‘s KastKing® brand headquartered in Long Island, NY bested many notable contenders for a coveted Best of Show Award at the International Convention of Allied SportFishing Trades (ICAST).

Eposeidon’s KastKing® brand was awarded Best of Show for their unique design KastKing® “Rack ’em Up” fishing rod racks. This year, 270 companies submitted 889 products in the New Product Showcase, all vying for the “Best of Show” award in 24 categories. Members of the media and buyers vote on the products for the awards. Making up a special section of ICAST’s half a million gross square feet show floor, the New Product Showcase provided special visibility for the industry’s latest innovations.

“The single most important feature for ICAST exhibitors and attendees alike is the New Product Showcase,” American Sportfishing Association (ASA) said in a press release. “The New Product Showcase, sponsored by Fishing Tackle Retailer, embodies the sportfishing industry’s innovative and entrepreneurial spirit and rewards that ingenuity through the “Best of Show” new product awards competition.”

It is the world’s largest sportfishing trade show and was held July 14 – 17, at the Orange County Convention Center Orlando, FL. Produced by the ASA, the industry’s trade association, ICAST – in its 58th year as the industry’s trade show – is the annual destination for the global recreational fishing industry. More than 12,000 representatives from the global sportfishing industry were in Orlando to see the latest innovations in fishing tackle, gear, accessories, and apparel.

KastKing® offers three different Rack em Up fishing tackle management rod rack models; a 12 rod rack, a 12 rod fold-flat rack and a 24 rod rack. They are all patent applied for designs. (http://www.eposeidon.com) will rock the fishing tackle world at the 2014 ICAST (International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades) set to take place July 16 through 18 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Located at booth 1702 will be Eposeidon’s array of the company’s latest fishing reels from their KastKing and Ecooda reel division, KastKing fishing lines, and lures from the MadBite division. Being introduced at the 2014 ICAST show will be Eposeidon’s new line of spinning and baitcasting fishing rods, including unique models for specific applications.
