Jupiter, FL, USA — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery (LST) is very pleased to announce that the gallery has been accepted and will now be promoted as a new Artsy.net Gallery Partner.

John R. Math, Gallery Director states the following, “With this partnership, the LST gallery will promote and post on Artsy.net their monthly overall art exhibition artists and the gallery’s monthly solo art exhibition artists, their art and their website URL’s as part of the gallery’s overall prize package. We are very excited to be able to offer this benefit to our art exhibition artists and we believe that this exposure will help our artists to sell their art.”

Artsy.net features the world’s leading galleries, museum collections, foundations, artist estates, art fairs, and benefit auctions, all in one place. They have a growing database of 500,000 images of art and includes the largest online database of contemporary art and is the premier tech-forward art platform.

Artsy.net averages 2 million visitors a month and 46% of Artsy users who have purchased art via Artsy started out as art enthusiasts rather than preexisting collectors. 18% of those users have become repeat buyers, having purchased two or more artworks via Artsy.net.

By having their artwork placed and marketed on Artsy.net, LST artists will have a distinct advantage in terms of exposure, marketing and SEO of their art through the Light Space & Time/Artsy.net gallery partnership.

This is a major increase in the gallery’s previous prize and benefit package to the winning artists of their gallery’s monthly group art exhibitions and solo art exhibitions. In addition to the increase in the gallery’s promotional package the winning artists are also promoted extensively in on-line publications, direct email campaigns and through the social media networks.

Pam Borrelli - Artist Showcase

Pam Borrelli, a San Francisco-based photographer, has been creating photographic images her entire life, a passion first discovered in childhood. Her later formal study of photography led Pam to a fortuitous meeting with acclaimed photographer Ruth Bernhard, who became a mentor and encouraged her to pursue a deeper commitment to photography.

Pam states the following about her art, “My photography focuses on an interplay between reality and imagination, between the observer and the observed. After years honing my skills in the traditional dark room, I have embraced the digital revolution in Photography, inspired by its unique and creative possibilities. I believe that the continuous advances in the technology and craft of digital photography are creating an entirely new medium.”

Roxanne Fawcett is Gallery’s New Featured Artist

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that abstract artist Roxanne Fawcett has been named as the Gallery’s new featured artist.

Light Space & Time Logo

Jupiter, FL, USA — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that abstract artist Roxanne Fawcett has been named as the Gallery’s new featured artist.

Roxanne Fawcett - Artist Showcase

Roxanne’s artistic journey started out with a generous and patient family, some crazy days at UC Berkeley and a wonderful West Coast life.

If asked where her art comes from, she would say it comes from a lot of creative genetics, a smattering of really good teachers, a couple of interesting encounters with the judicial system, a healthy fear of quicksand and a natural avoidance of the traditional career path.

In describing her art Roxanne would probably use such words as ‘colorful’, ‘textured’, ‘graphic’, ‘interpretive’, possibly ‘transitional’ or ‘natural’. She tends to work in series…acrylic on canvas or paper, mixed media occasionally, messy and loose. You can find more of Roxanne’s art at http://www.rgfawcettdesign.com.

Kathy Blankley Roman is Gallery’s Featured Artist

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that abstract artist Kathy Blankley Roman has been named as the Gallery’s new featured artist.

Light Space & Time Logo

Jupiter, FL, USA — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that abstract artist Kathy Blankley Roman has been named as the Gallery’s new featured artist.

Kathy Blankley Roman - Artist Showcase

Kathy Blankley Roman was born and raised in Chicago, IL and is an award winning artist known for her expressive abstract paintings. All her life she has been making art of one kind or another. After high school, she relocated to Madison, WI to attend the University of Wisconsin, in a field only loosely related to art.

She taught it at Madison Area Technical College when she returned to school there to study commercial art. This led to work in the graphic design field, freelance illustration and a return to Chicago. After her retirement in 2010, she started painting her current abstract work when studying nonobjective expressive painting with arts educator and author Steven Aimone.

Kathy continues to explore and experiment with different media and ways of creating. Ultimately, it is all about the process and the physical act of creating: becoming the brush, responding to the surface, the visceral feeling of engaging it, the discovery, the evolution of the painting as it changes; and then finding the delicate balance between intuition and intention to bring the composition to a satisfying conclusion. Ambro Louwe Named Gallery’s Featured Artist

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that Ambro Louwe is the gallery’s featured artist and he will now be featured in the Artist Showcase Section of the gallery.

Jupiter, FL, USA (October 19, 2015) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that Ambro Louwe is the gallery’s featured artist and he will now be featured in the Artist Showcase Section of the gallery.

Ambro Louwe was born in the Netherlands. He explains his artistic journey, “Creating was not always enjoyable, as giving shape often leads along uncertainty and deep doubts. Stepping into the unknown is very demanding most of the time. It may also bring joy and happiness, a feeling of gratitude. Moreover, it gives amongst others, an understanding of, and admiration for the expressions by others. By giving shape and getting into a flow one heals and feels part of the world and connected to matter. It makes a person matter in this world.”

Recently, the game and action of getting into the flow and searching for harmony in colours and shapes bring objects to life. Concentration and following the process in balancing the different parts. A dialogue with inner words, colour, shape that bring about surprising works. His works are owned by city councils, hospitals, schools, hotels and private persons in Holland, America, Dubai, Switzerland, France, England and Germany.

On his website one can see the diversity of his artwork. (http://www.ambrolouwe.com)

Lily Nava - Artist Showcase

Jupiter, FL, USA (December 18, 2014) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is extremely pleased to announce Lily Nava has been named the gallery’s latest featured artist. She will now be shown in and promoted in the gallery’s Artist Showcase.

Lily is an accomplished, self-taught, visionary artist currently residing in Southern California. Her art work is transformative and filled with the intangibles of her emotions through color, movement and luminosity. Her paintings are charged with positive energy, while expressing an overwhelming sense of tranquility. Viewers are transported to mystical, light filled, other-worldly dreamscapes, where they become the story teller, as they linger inside the images, seeking answers to their own life’s questions.

Her works are influenced by the Fusionart style of painting, which is founded in European painting technology. What is poured onto her canvas is the emotional and spiritual energy of the artist, fusing with whatever is longing to be expressed. Since 2010, Lily’s images have been juried into humanitarian artist calls such as “The Peace Project” which is curated by the Whole 9 Gallery in Los Angeles. She donates her images every year to raise funds to elevate world peace, assist humanity and build communities.

Her “earthly” art won over the juror panel at “Sustainable Silicon Valley” Art Expo”, held at NASA Research Center in Mountain View, CA, which called on artists to submit images for planetary sustainability; she has been invited back every year since 2013 to have her images included in the ongoing building of the vision for planetary solutions.

Her works have been exhibited and collected across the USA. To see more of Lily’s works, visit her website at http://www.lilynavagallery.com.

She travels to many places that are highly photographed so she spends much of the time setting up her shots looking for an angle that no one else has ever achieved. “Hiking deep into the wilderness it is easy to get a unique shot but when you stand at Jordon Pond in Acadia National Park, you have to do something no one else is doing.”

Pam owns Extra Eyes Photo Tours and teaches her photography in many locations throughout the USA and Canada. She also has photography classes running in local parks in N.J. and N.Y. from April to November on the weekends. Several photographers work for her teaching classes. She welcomes all levels on her tours throughout the USA and Canada. Pam’s website is http://www.extraeyesphototours.com.

Kristi Richter is now in the Gallery’s Artist Showcase

Light Space & Time

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is extremely pleased to announce that artist Kristi Richter is their newest featured artist.

Kristi Richter - Artist Showcase

Jupiter, FL, USA (October 15, 2014) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is extremely pleased to announce that artist Kristi Richter is their newest featured artist. Kristi will now be presented in the Gallery’s Artist Showcase section for the next month.

Kristi Richter was born and grew up in Chicago and now resides in Nashville, Tennessee. Art has always been a priority, and she owes her zealous interest due to her grandfather, who was a professional commercial artist and had a studio in Chicago. Her mother was also an artist, so she inherited talent from both sides of the family.

Kristi followed an art curriculum through high school, but it was when she attended The American Academy of Art and Chicago Academy of Fine Arts respectively, that she really started to understand her potential and how to express it. Her studies introduced her to the many facets of art such as advertising, illustration, calligraphy, photography, scratchboard, abstract, design, charcoal drawing with live models, and color schemes. Over time, she was able to recognize her weaknesses and sought ways to improve them, and she solidified her strengths.

Kristi’s favorite medium is acrylics because they blend easily, dry quickly and the colors are opulent and vibrant. Most of her work is done in acrylics and has included pet portraits, posters and advertisements that are animal-related. She has also written and illustrated a children’s book about a dog which she would like to publish.

Kristi’s definitive objective is to start a business exclusively doing pet portraits or a favorite wildlife creature rendered in acrylics, scratchboard, watercolor, abstract, and cartoon. She has designed a business card and advertising poster and her logo is “Kristi’s Kritters”. Kristi can be reached at keddywumpus@yahoo.com.

Online Art Gallery Now Accepts 3 Dimensional Art

Light Space & Time

The Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery (LST) is pleased to announce that they will now accept 3 dimensional art (3D Art) into their future online art competitions.

Online Art Gallery Now Accepts 3 Dimensional Art

Jupiter, FL, USA (May 16, 2014) — The Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery (LST) is pleased to announce that they will now accept 3 dimensional art (3D Art) into their future online art competitions. In the past, LST decided not to accept this type of art, as many presentations of 3D art were below their standards in quality for publishing art on their website.

3D art which will now be acceptable for entering into their online art competitions will be sculpture, collage, pottery, relief type art, kinetics, installation art, assemblage, crafts, carving, glass, jewelry, paper and related media, as long as the art which is entered is in keeping and related to the gallery’s theme. The 3D Art that the LST Gallery will accept for entry into their online exhibitions must still be presented professionally and at an acceptable high quality.

The LST Gallery receives many inquiries every month about accepting 3D Art and we hope that this policy change regarding expanding acceptable media will help the 3D artists to increase their venues to a much larger and quality audience of viewers.

We have put together a small post on how to photograph 3D Art properly and we hope that any artists who choose to enter their art in the gallery’s online art competitions will read and review these helpful ideas. Here is a link to the post “Tips for Photographing 3 Dimensional Art”.

If you know of any 3D Artists or of any art organizations who may be interested in this announcement, we hope that you will make them aware of this news by forwarding this post to them.

Carmel Brantley - Artist Showcase

Jupiter, FL, USA (April 15, 2014) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is extremely pleased to announce that South Florida fine art photographer Carmel Brantley is the gallery’s newest featured artist and will be featured in their Artist Showcase.

Carmel is inspired by light, texture, and form, as her photographs are modern expressions of depth and detail. Sought after by private collectors, her photographs have been featured in several juried exhibitions, as well as Art in Public Places, Palm Beach County. Carmel is the recipient of several photography awards, including Best in Show, Palm Beach Photographic Center.

Carmel grew up in Des Moines Iowa and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and Graphic Art from Drake University. Together, they operate Brantley Photography, a commercial photography studio specializing in architecture and interior design.

Carmel states this about her art, “I am drawn to subject matter that have an intrinsic and often subtle, simple beauty to their being. I find intrigue in allowing the camera to record the complexities of the subject, never certain of what details and secrets might emerge. Classic and rich, sepia toned images reminiscent of an earlier time, have always been a passion of mine. So too are bold, stimulating, contemporary black and white images. I strive for intimacy, seeking to explore, embrace and define that which the camera captures. I am reminded each time I peer through the viewfinder of the magical power the camera possess, and its limitless capacity to engage, surprise and reveal a new perspective on the familiar.”?

Flower Child Productions is the fine art division of Brantley Photography, featuring the work of Carmel Brantley. In addition to art collectors, Carmel works closely with interior designers and architects in choosing artwork for their clients. Flower Child Productions also produces books and hand printed cards. Frances Marino is in Gallery’s Artist Showcase

Light Space & Time

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is proud to announce that Frances Marino is the Gallery’s new featured artist.

Frances Marino Artist Showcase

Jupiter, FL, USA (March 15, 2014) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is proud to announce that Frances Marino is the Gallery’s new featured artist. Frances was originally born in Buffalo New York and in 1974 she moved to Boulder Colorado in order to live in the wide open spaces. 30 years later, in 2005, her life would take a turn into the art world.

In 2005, Frances began to think what she would like to do when she would retire in 10 years’ time. She realized that art was always something that she had enjoyed dabbling in, by going to art shows and art openings. With that realization, she decided to take a couple of drawing classes at the local Front Range Community College by starting out with a watercolor class. From that experience, Frances decided to take a pastel class at the Colorado Art Academy and with that, pastels quickly became her favorite medium.

In 2008 Frances decided that she wanted to expand into abstracts and she took a class with the artist Gwen Fox, thus, it was her first experience with acrylics which she tends to use more of these days.

Frances tells this story about her art, “Someone told me once that I will never be famous because my art is all over the place without a certain style and people will not be able to recognize my art. Being famous is not my goal. My goal is to create pieces of art that people would love to hang on their walls. So I continue to paint what moves me and I never know how the painting will turn out until I am finished with it. But then again, I can’t say if one of my paintings is ever finished or whether it is just abandoned for the moment.”

She continues her thoughts, “The world of art has been a great place to land for my next career with even I not knowing where my next painting will come from or how it will show up on the canvas. I find it’s all a mystery to me.” Frances’s website is http://www.frances-marino.artistwebsites.com.

Marti White is Named Gallery’s New Featured Artist

Light Space & Time

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that Arizona artist, Marti White is the gallery’s new featured artist.

Marti White - New Featured Artist

Jupiter, FL, USA (February 15, 2014) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that Arizona artist, Marti White is the gallery’s new featured artist. Marti will now be in the gallery’s Artist Showcase section and be promoted by the gallery for the next 30 days.

Marti White lives, creates and works in Tucson, Arizona. Marti’s artistic interests have taken various forms over more than half a century, beginning with the creative play of a child, the usual art classes in school and college, and then a series of classes with various teachers in various media – pencil, ink, oil, watercolor, acrylic, mixed media and collage. To Marti, watercolor has brought her years of satisfying work as she paints mostly from the natural world – flowers, landscapes, and small wonders of the forest and field.

Marti describes her artistic growth and path since moving to Arizona, “When we moved to the West to retire, I felt that it called for a new artistic path to go along with a new life, in a new place. I found a wonderful teacher in mixed media and embarked on a discovery of painting from the heart. Learning to just let my colors and media take me wherever they pulled me was an exciting new adventure in expression. It seemed that these new paintings came from the center of my very being and were very spiritual in nature. By painting from my gut instead of my head, with no concern for what the paintings meant or whether they looked like something, I was able to free up some inner person that I had never known before.”

Recently, Marti has been exploring something that she likes to call “Apertures” – openings – windows into what is behind the surface of the painting. This series of paintings and collages has grown over several years and she has found it interesting to develop a multi-layered work that seems to contain mysteries to be discovered, pathways into the depth of the painting. It is Marti’s hope that her artwork tells a very personal story to the viewer. Marti’s website is http://www.artbymartiwhite.com.

Almine - Jellyfish of the Deep

Almine The Countess of Shannon is a digital artist based in Oregon. Almine was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in 1993 and for many years her art has been commissioned by private collectors worldwide. It is only in recent years that she has expanded in public circles.

Almine states this about her art, “I have been called by some “The Dreaming Artist”, because my artwork is seen in dreams, before it’s executed into its final manifestation. I deliberately avoid gaining inspiration from other artists’ work in order to keep the purity of transcendent inspiration.”

Almine continues her thoughts, “The driving passion of my life has been to expand beyond the sensual experiences of existing limitations of human experience. My sincere desire is that my art will inspire viewers to live an extraordinary and boundless life. My depth of knowledge as a mystic and an alchemist is also the impetus for the desire to transcend existing paradigms through my visual art, and music.”

Finally, Almine completes her views about the creative process and the digital medium, “The desire to portray what lies beyond mortal boundaries permeates my artwork. To express the undefinable, and dance with the contradiction that exists beyond duality, is my passion. The digital medium I have chosen is able to express the inner light of shapes. It is my sincere desire that my art will inspire viewers to live an extraordinary and boundless life.” Almine’s art website can be found here http://www.paintingsoflight.com.
